I have always been interested in in working outdoors and have managed to achieve this ambition by securing a full time spot on the family farm working for my dad. Since leaving university, I have worked on the family farm helping to maintain the farm and look after the stock. 

Together my dad and I run 750 head of sheep and 70 head of cattle. 

 Our general duties are sorting, feeding and bedding livestock, herding sheep.

Occasional duties include administering medicine, lambing (4 weeks), sowing fertiliser, calving ~6 weeks, spreading slurry, shearing, carting bales, spreading manure, weaning lambs and fixing field drains.
